What do you like best?

I am able to locate things internally that would otherwise take much longer to search individually.

What don't you like?

I haven't really found anything that I think is a problem or needs improvement.

What problems does the product solve and how does it benefit you?

When I'm looking for specific content, presentations, etc., gleaning is really helpful in finding information relevant to my research.

What do you like best?

Glean is a dynamic enterprise search with an intuitive user interface. It helps people search and find the information they need to do their jobs, and even find information they didn't know they needed. It acts as a doorway to many rooms. I can say with confidence that it saves the company time, increases productivity and has a high level of user satisfaction.

What don't you like?

Glean has been great to work with on our deployment and very receptive to constructive feedback such as the ability to bulk check documents and create sub-collections. They are attentive to their areas of improvement.

For potential Glean users: It's important to remember that while Glean is great, it shouldn't be treated as a quick fix. Your company still needs to get a handle on its content management strategy, keep things up to date and in the right repository; however, features like content auditing and deprecation in Glean certainly help!

What problems does the product solve and how does it benefit you?

Glean solves the problems of discoverability and findability of knowledge. We have information on many tools and it can be difficult to know where to look and what is out there.

What do you like best?

Personally, I find it most useful when I know there is content but can't remember what form it took, a presentation or a document or a pdf. I can scan the entire organization for content, then drill down. I usually find other useful information along the way and I'm sure it gets added to the right collection. It's not a quick fix but comes very close. With a little curatorial effort, it is a game changer for sure.

What don't you like?

I have yet to find an aversion. If you make no effort to verify a search, you won't get the most out of it.

What problems does the product solve and how does it benefit you?

We can't stop our content sources from proliferating. Naming standards also drift into our offices around the world. Glean allows us to find, sort and classify content sustainably.
